Six Flags: A recipe for death and disaster, dangerous.

Six flags theme parks are fast gaining notoriety as places least safe for our families. The latest incident: a 17 year boy decapacitated by a roller coaster is one of over 25 incidents, large and small, many of them resulting in death or serious injury at Six flags theme parks all over the country.

Union Carbide Mudrer Victims in Bhopal Still Seeking Redres

The survivors of Bhopal, India are still fighting for justice. In December 1984, 40 tons of mostly methyl isocyanate (MIC) gas — one of the deadliest chemicals invented by man — escaped from a Union Carbide factory, a result of gross negligence, murdering some 8,000 people, and eventually being linked to 12,000 subsequent deaths

Having covered government policy for years, I have lost count of the number of foreign businessmen I have heard complaining about how difficult it was to set up in India. But a visit to a government passport office just outside the capital this week showed it can be just as frustrating getting out.

Tap Water Rules - (Why tap is safer than bottled)

Spreading the word about reusable bottles became an unexpected business.Tap water is regulated by EPA. Bottled water is regulated by FDA only if it is shipped across state lines. Bottled water produced and sold within the state is regulated by no agency. It is dangerous.EPA has much higher standard of safety than FDA on water.
